Adventures into the Unknown was a quarterly comic produced by America’s Greatest Comics. This issue came out in the fall of 1948 and contained eight stories. This twelve-page story, The Living Ghost, narrates the story of Malevo, Satan’s first lieutenant; a monster in search of a queen. It is also the first appearance of the Institute of Psychic Research. Its script is credited to Frank Belknap Long, while pencils and inks are credited to Fred Guardineer.
