This is a special edition of our audio drama showcase highlighting radio material referred to in our forthcoming series of lessons on Audio Drama for schools.
Winston Churchill’s “fight them on the beaches” speech is credited with galvanising the United Kingdom into resisting German aggression.  While the speech was never broadcast live (as popularly believed) , but rather read by newscasters across the country, Churchill did record the speech after the war’s conclusion.
